I am a Licensed Psychologist, Consultant, and Master Teacher/Trainer. I am an expert in Learning, Behavior Modification, Diversity, Research, and Training. I received my B.A. in Psychology from Spelman College, my M.S. degree in Professional Counseling from Georgia State University, and my Ph.D. in Psychology with an emphasis in School Psychology from The University of Southern Mississippi.
During my tenure at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine/Kennedy Krieger Institute, I specialized in parent training and marriage and family therapy. Additionally, I have worked as an assistant professor and contributing faculty member at several colleges and universities. I have provided training and presentations for local and national conferences.
With 20+ years of experience, I have worked with individual and organizational clients in mental health facilities (inpatient and outpatient clinics, university counseling center, community health organizations), businesses, schools, and private practice. In my clinical practice, I use cognitive behavioral treatments to promote wellness in individuals, couples, and women.
Also, I have experience in career and lifestyle development with millennials. As a consultant, I assist organizations and individuals with issues pertaining to diversity, conflict resolution, emotional intelligence and labor, behavior modification, and strategic planning. I have served as a consultant for organizations such as the CDC, Spelman College, and DeKalb County Schools. Through the use of evidenced-based treatment, culturally relevant data collection, assessment, and uniquely crafted experiential learning and behavioral activities, I successfully enhance outcomes for individuals, groups, and businesses.
At GlobeCoRe, I conduct psychological evaluations and evidence-based training/supervision.
In my free time, I enjoy reading, watching movies, listening to live music, and going to Escape Rooms.
As the Chairman/CEO of The BrownStone Project, it is my pleasure to serve as a reference for Dr. Arcella Trimble. [She] is well organized, diligent in [her] paperwork, easily reachable, and always on time. [Her] upbeat personality and engaging personal styles enable her to interact effectively with our clients and staff. At all times, I have found Dr. Trimble and the other consultants to be competent and ethical in their practices. They have more than proven their ability to lead a large and complex mental health care system. I am deeply impressed by Dr. Trimble and her consultants and recommend her unhesitatingly. I am confident that she would provide the same high level of service and commitment to other companies.
