What it’s Like to Work with Me

I strive to create a safe, culturally sensitive, and empowering environment for all my clients. I ensure that my office is a place where everyone feels as though they belong and are accepted regardless of race, ethnicity, gender, and sexuality. I create a carefully curated therapeutic experience that is conscious of who you are and how you define yourself. I want to create a collaborative space in which we both work through the issues you are facing in your life. No matter who you are I will help remind you of your true self and help you embrace your authentic self.

These values are applied to all of my services including individual, family, and group therapy, psychological evaluations, and workshops & training programs. All of these services aim to help individuals and organizations expand their awareness, knowledge, and skills and typically focus on identity development, diversity inclusion, and creating time and space for holistic wellness.

Personal Highlights

I am a Clinical-Community doctoral student, working under the clinical supervision of Kelly Lewis-Arthur, Ph.D. I have experience working with diverse clients who are experiencing a range of clinical concerns from general life stress to management of severe mental illness.

Hobbies

In my spare time, I teach yoga and meditation. I enjoy hiking, traveling, reading, trying vegan restaurants, and creating art projects with kids.
