How therapy helps

We all walk around with a mask on. We tend to keep how we are feeling to ourselves and deal with our suffering on our own. Therapy is a tool that helps us talk about how we are feeling and helps push us to create a better world around us. You may tell yourself that everything is okay and nothing is wrong, but that is not always true. We all carry burdens, and therapy can help free us from that pain

My credentials

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 10 years of experience. I obtained a dual Bachelor of Arts Degrees in Psychology and Sociology at Rowan University and obtained a Master of Social Work (M.S.W.) Degree at Clark Atlanta University. I am a seasoned mental health professional that has a vast history and knowledge in providing psychotherapy and clinical services, which include but are not limited to mental health, behavioral health, and substance abuse treatment.

My hobbies

In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family & friends, traveling, listening to music, watching movies, and baking fabulously gorgeous and delicious cakes.

Yma is the best, and I mean she is truly amazing! I was seeing her for about two years until my federal probation program ended and she really is great. My girlfriend loves her too. `Anonymous

Ms. Yma was very understanding about my situation and really helped me through my process. I had committed a federal crime and spent some time in prison for it, when I got out I was going through a divorce and trying to adjust back to my life after being released. I had a lot of problems but through her being so understanding she helped me through it all. ~Anonymous
