My Services Offered

I provide four distinct services to a diverse clientele. Individual, couples, and group psychotherapy are the primary services that I provide. I partner with my clients to help them work through mental and emotional struggles to realize their potential.

The second service, psychological evaluations. This service is individuals that desire to confirm and understand the symptoms they have been experiencing. This psychological tool is a method to assess an individual’s behavior, personality, cognitive abilities etc. The evaluation also is used to assist in guiding treatment planning.

The third service, concierge. This service provides clients priority scheduling, same-day services, extended sessions, and the option of choosing a private location to conduct their sessions, with many more other personalized benefits.

The final service, personal/professional workshops. Workshops are developed and designed based on the personalized needs of the client or organization it is being developed for.

What it is like being in session with me

The therapy journey is a process and a partnership. What you put into the therapy process is what you will get out of it! I will be there by your side to help and support you through each step. However, I will not tell you what to do. I believe that you hold the answers you seek inside of yourself. My job is to ask you the right questions that allow you to look introspectively to discover the answers that are meaningful to and for you.

Treatment/Approach modality

I utilize a person-centered and cognitive behavioral approach. The therapy process is different for everyone. I allow you the freedom to guide your session; by determining what you want to work on supports your ability to work towards self-actualization. Through the process; together we will identify, challenge, and change, the thoughts, and beliefs that do not serve you or the life you desire by developing personalized coping strategies. I support you throughout the process by ensuring that you have a safe space to express your thoughts, feelings, and emotions.

My approach extends further than what happens in our sessions. I not only focus on your healing in session, but I also encourage the healing process to continue outside of the session. I will occasionally assign activities for you to work on in-between sessions to help you focus on and dive deeper into the areas of your life where you desire to experience healing.

My specialties

There is a shared story among those I work with. Feeling different can have a lasting and often negative impact on a person’s sense of self, how you are viewed in the world, and how you view your place in the world. I work with a wide range of clients of varying ages, ethnic and cultural backgrounds. My passion lies with individuals facing developmental, and intellectual challenges, aging, and supporting those adjusting to new life stages.

Specialties include: Self-Esteem/ Identity struggles tied to life transitions across the life cycle; aging; developmental and intellectual disabilities; anxiety; and depression

How therapy helps

Life, in general, brings out so many emotions, and therapy helps you attend to those emotions, thoughts, and feelings. My therapy sessions allow you the opportunity to take time for yourself, to openly voice your feelings and concerns in an environment that is non-judgmental and safe, and free from unsolicited advice and interruptions.

I want to advocate for mental wellness. Mental wellness is often pushed aside in our society, not being as important as our physical wellness, but it is essential for our overall well-being. Even with perfect physical health, without mental stability, you will struggle. Therapy allows you to work towards improving your holistic wellness (mind, body, and soul).

Additionally, I have completed additional certifications in anger management and Prepare and Enrich (trained to work with couples to enhance their relationship). My varied experiences have conditioned me to work effectively with individuals from various backgrounds.
