Oppression, racism, sexism, discrimination, and intolerance often can create extreme stress and can lead to depression, anxiety, lowered self-esteem, reduced life opportunities, worry, and countless other symptoms.
It can even put people at risk of abuse and other forms of violence.
Dealing with societal pressure, as well as stigmatized pressure, can be very overwhelming. Sometimes, you need help to overcome these feelings.
